Shiben Event Center
As part of the buildings donated by The Shiben Family via Shiben Estates, Inc. to the Wetzel County Commission in 2018, originally built in 1904, the commissioners saw an opportunity to renovate the center space and create a wonderful option for residents to celebrate events and hold meetings. Thus, the Shiben Event Center was born.

The 3,500 square foot main space with 14 foot ceilings boasts a warm natural feel featuring soft neutral toned walls and floors, allowing you to showcase your own personal taste and décor. There is not just one open large space, there is also an equally sizeable foyer area, perfect for a ceremony or cocktail meet and greet. Both venues have windows facing Main Street, allowing natural light.
